I've hit a snag in the publishing department. The Grand Librarian: Life of an Immortal will probably be delayed for another week or so. A mix-up with the publisher, mostly my fault, caused the delay. I am relieved to say that the book is getting good feedback so far though. In the meantime, I'm hard at work trying to get the HMU further off the ground. Everyday, I'm working on Father Tom Padilla: Mark of the Demon Priest. As I've said before, I believe this will be the darkest story yet, in my foray into the supernatural.
Real quick, I wanna share a story. A coworker purchased The Hangman from me. He finished it within a week. To sit around and talk about my book, the characters, the plot twists, and the action was a thrill beyond by wildest dreams. I wondered to myself if it was what well-known authors felt when they first got their big break. I'm still humbled by the conversation and overwhelmed with joy. I honestly wish that most people I know could feel what my coworker gave me that day - a since of accomphisment. Thanking him for that conversation was the easiest thing I could do in life.
